BONTANG – In an effort to raise awareness about the importance of mental health in the workplace and at home, Badak LNG hosted a talk show titled “Healthy Mind, Happy Life” with the theme “Maintaining Mental Health Amid the Demands of Work and Family Life.” The event took place on Monday (November 2, 2026) at the Badak LNG Multi-Purpose Building.

The talk show, attended by employees, their families, business partners, and management, featured Dr. Andreas Kurniawan, Sp.KJ, as the guest speaker. The talk show session discussed how to recognize what happens to oneself when under stress, how stress can lead to burnout, the impact of stress on family life, and practical tips participants can use to foster more harmonious relationships with their families amid work challenges.

“Sometimes we still bring stress home, or conversely, bring stress to work. So, with this event, hopefully we can be kinder to ourselves. Don’t be too hard on yourself amid life’s various challenges. Make time for your family, yourself, and your spiritual well-being,” he said.

Meanwhile, Badak LNG Senior Manager of Human Capital Ravito Karismael explained in his remarks that the company consistently strives to support employees’ mental well-being by providing an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) through the Human Capital Services department. He also noted that every individual has their own limits, so work-related stress, the demands of responsibility, and the dynamics of situations and the environment must be managed effectively to prevent long-term negative effects.

“Through this event, the company aims to convey a clear message that maintaining mental health is essential for supporting workplace productivity. Maintaining a balance between work and personal life is not a weakness, but rather a form of care and responsibility toward oneself and loved ones,” he explained.

Furthermore, he added that open communication, support from partners and family, and an environment of mutual understanding are crucial foundations for facing various challenges in the workplace.

“In closing, we want to encourage all employees and their families to continue prioritizing their mental health, because the Company’s success is not only measured by the achievements we make, but also by the quality of our human resources—people who are physically and mentally healthy, resilient, and happy. “We hope that through this event, all Badak LNG employees and their families can apply the new insights they’ve gained and experience the benefits in their daily lives,” he said.
